COVID-19 NOTICE - A MESSAGE TO OUR PATIENTS

At John M Moore, MD, we have implemented several safety measures in our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients, doctors, and staff.

Rigorous screening process:
All patients who have arrived to their scheduled appointments are asked to wait in their cars and call the office (972-867-9135), telling us you are in the parking lot. Once an exam room is ready, you will be called and instructed to enter the building. This prevents unnecessary contact with other patients in the waiting area.

Please let us know prior to coming to your appointment if you have:

 - been in contact with someone who has tested positive or shown signs/symptoms of Covid-19 within the past two weeks

 - traveled over the past two weeks

 - any Covid-19 symptoms (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea)

Infection control best practices:
Our doctors and staff are expertly trained in infection control best practices, including the effective use of personal protective equipment. Per the CDC recommended guidelines, patients over the age of two are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times while inside our building. Please wear a mask for the entirety of your visit and only remove it if asked to do so by your doctor.

Cleaning protocols:
All clinical care areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every patient encounter. This has been our protocol long before the COVID-19 pandemic because of our commitment to providing the safest patient environment.

Visitor Restrictions:
We are asking that patients do not bring anyone with them to their appointment, unless in cases where it is absolutely necessary. A maximum of one parent or guardian must accompany patients under 18 years of age.
